Beautiful Vintage Madame Alexander Kins Wendy Adores a Party Dress, Hat & Slip
The dress, hat and slip are all in good but not mint condition. The dress is beautiful and the nylon has not faded or grayed. The lace is nice and white and there are no stains or odors. The only issue is that it has two identical small pinholes on the top of the shoulders of the dress. My best guess is that at some point a. Owner put a pin through it which made the holes. They are absolutely near impossible to see when the dress is on the doll and they do not detract in anyway. The hat is the same hat that is shown in the 1958 booklet and I have also found it on the Lia Sargent website. This hat is in good condition but the flowers do show some age and there is a dark mark towards the back of the hat on the underside. Lastly this outfit comes with a star slip that had lost its elastic so I ran some elastic cord through the waist and now it fits perfectly. So while not a perfect outfit it is htf and will display beautifully. The doll and matching shoes are not included but are being offered separately this week so be sure to check them and my other Alexander listings out.
