Size 6, CHRISTMAS Girl's Vintage Red Sheer Voile Floral Dress & Red Slip 1950's
It actually took my breath away when I finished it. It is a one of a kind, two piece set. It is styled from an original vintage pattern that is dated 1958, and unused vintage fabrics and trims. The sheer outer dress is stunning over the red solid slip.
It is sewn with french seams to prevent unraveling, and to maintain structure. The outer dress is made from a vintage red floral print Voile (100% cotton) fabric. This fabric has green centers inside the flowers, so I think it would make a perfect Christmas dress. It has red vintage rick rack that trims the collar and cuffs. The sash slips through belt carriers at the lower edge of the bodice and ties into a fluffy bow in the back.
It has a full gathered skirt. It buttons closed down the back. The slip is made with red vintage rick rack trimming and solid red (not vintage) 100% cotton fabric.
