VINTAGE 1950s MADAME ALEXANDER CISSETTE DOLL tagged dress QUEEN with CROWN slip
Vintage 1959 Madame Alexander Cissette doll "Queen". Tosca, triple stitched part, fancy hair do.
Matching yellow slip, crown, rhinestone earrings. Presented here is a fabulous 1959 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has tosca hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the part is to the side with the hair swept to the opposite side and tied with. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with rhinestone teardrop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The dress is tagged, it is gold brocade with the blue taffeta jeweled sash, yellow taffeta lining, there is a faint water line on the inside of the lining only, the dress is beautiful with nice body. Underneath she wears the original, hard to find, yellow taffeta slip with a ruffled flounce, taffeta panties and emerald satin high heels with ruby rhinestones on the toes. She has her original crown of gold braid with jewels, the gold elastic has lost some of the stretch. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition.The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item.
