Vintage Handcrafted Hankerchief Linen Battenberg Lace Tea/wedding dress and slip
My Grandmother wore it as a wedding dress but could double as a tea dress as well. Dates from the early 20's.
Battenberg Lace, handkerchief line, front bodice has small snaps on either side, the lace is in excellent condition, needs a little repair on the right side, nothing major but beyond me as I do not want to tamper with the integrity of the piece. It is a work of art.
The slip is also handkerchief linen. Lovely details, placket covered shell buttons in the front, and at the neck line in the back, two tiny hearts (shown in photos). A set like this does not come along every day.
