VINTAGE NORMA KAMALI 1980s Blue Sheer Long Dress/Coat with Black Slip Dress. Theres nothing subtle about the style that comes with this BEAUTIFUL Vintage Coat Dress with Black Under Slip Dress bias cut so it follows the body beautifully! It boasts a sheer dusty powder blue long flowing over coat that is open from the waist down with open panels (one each side) and one full panel in the back. Suit-like winged collar with a front 3 button fabric covered closure that ends at the waist. Button Or Unbutton (your choice).
The coat looks amazing over the black long form fitting bias cut strappy slip dress (with adjustable bra like straps). If you are somewhat daring the slip dress could also be worn alone. The coat can also be worn over many other things. It looks smashing over long tight leggings, flowing palazzo pants or cute form fitting jeans. My husband bought this for me while on a business trip in the 1980s and it was Pricy! This ensemble has hung covered in the back of my closet and always dry cleaned. I think the coat is either a silk or rayon pattern burnout and the under slip is most likely a rayon polyester blend.Neither piece wrinkles, so both are great for travel!
