This peach Ginger Rogers full slip, in size 38, was designed by a very creative Ginger Rogers later in her life, as she loved painting. She was a fashion consultant for J. Penney at this time, and her designs were selected in a competition between 35 celebrity contestants to create a lingerie line. Great story and this piece is rare! I have had this slip since 1972--packed away with all my other vintage clothes that I wore.
The top is lined, and made of 100% nylon. Two large kick pleats, and as you can see from the photo, her initials were on each piece. In very good condition--a few stitches needed under the arms. Modern women might even want to wear this as a dress! Shoulder to hem: 27.5.
Across Chest, flat : 19 (Its' a size 38, correctly). Across Waist, flat: 17.25.
