1920-30`s Peach Silk Bias cut Slip Dress / Negligee Mauve Lace Belted
Wonderful late 1920-30 rare and stunning long bias cut silk. Mauve cotton lace with re-embroidery, adorns the two triangular inserts. On the lower part on each side of the dress. The tallest part at 14. The wide lace yoke covers the shoulders and there is lace leaf cut outs.
Dripping down the front to the navel. It looks like the ribbon goes thru the lace and a flower made out of ribbon. Finishes off this fabulous look. Original silk ribbon tie in the back with a mother of pearl buckle. 9 1/2 v cut in the back.
A wonderful piece of fashion history. Material :Satiny silk Label/Designer : None Size: S...A very , very faint smudge I have tried to take a picture. It does not show up.
On the front down low. + Great : Worn but near perfect. Small signs here and there.
Pinholes barely detectable flaws, remember it is vintage. Good: Still wearable but needs repair new zippers, small holes , fading repairs, etc. Fair : Most likely not wearable for study or pattern making.
