1930's True Vintage Antique Wedding Dress and Matching Slip Dress
Exquisite 1930's sheer wedding dress with matching slip dress underneath. Buttons up the front of the dress and button cuffs. Sleeves have a slight gathering at the shoulders. The left side has tiny snaps to fasten the dress. The fabric of the dress is like a heavier weight tulle. Not sure what it would be labeled.
The slip dress which goes under the sheer overdress is made of what feels like a satin like material. I could not show it with the overdress as it would not fit over the top of my mannequin.
The top dress has some give to the fabric and is a little stretchy. Can provide extra pics if needed. Size is a small or extra small. Sleeve 27 to tip of sleeve This is stretched and when worn should be gathered up. This dress is in good condition considering its age.
There is faint yellowing and patina to the fabric. The tulle is in very good condition considering how fragile it is. I see two tears which can be repaired. One at the waist and one on the bottom of the skirt. There are a few very small holes in the gathered skirt. The slip dress is in very good condition.
