Vintage, Allen Edmonds Riviera slip-on Loafers. Lightly enjoyed once for a few hours. Very light wear from colored sock dye in shoe interiors; Slight wear on sole bottoms from cobble stone walk. In remembrance of the popular 1980s TV Series, Miami Vice, where the character: Don Johnson,'Sunny Crocket', was known for wearing the iconic White Linen Suit with colorful Tees and casual loafers without socks, making Loafers all-the-rave for looking cool back in the 1980s. The Riviera shoes were the perfect choice to pair with a Spring/Summer linen suit, cool shirt, and snazzy socks put aside to be worn for that Event.

On day of event, after approximately 2.5 hours, feet started hurting; After checking, realized size was incorrect. Thinking Sales Rep grabbed wrong box from floor try-ons, since Rep took shoes to the register in advance. Luckily, a pair of driving shoes were left in the vehicle which presented an opportunity to take Riviera shoes off.

All-in-all, Riviera shoes were worn approximately 3 to 5 hours once (includes Drive over to the event)! Shoes have never been worn without socks, nor were they ever worn after that Event. Riviera is a Mens dressy casual shoe, in size 13D. It is constructed of quality materials. The upper is done in Genuine White Calf Leather and features two tassels on the toebox area. Where upper meets the sole, is a golden brown trim along the edge.

A well-built, thick, solid, stitched wood Leather-wrapped base features an approximate 1-inch Wood stacked heel on leather sole. Kept in non-smoking/pet-free, clean environment. No smells, stains, holes, rips, tears, nor scratches to Leather upper. Some light wear on bottoms from limited wear during Event approx.

2.5 to 5 hour use. Each shoe comes in its own plush Burgundy velveteen drawstring pouch inside an Allen Edmonds box. Adds timeless, classic style to any look with these vintage gems. Then why not start a conversation.
