This is one of the loveliest 1930s chiffon gowns I have come across. I love the long length of it. It is wonderfully bias cut so there's lots of movement to the skirt of the dress.
There are snaps on the side and belt loops. The fluttery sleeves are wonderful too.It has stretch to the chiffon, so was a little hard to get exact measurements. The bust with stretch goes to about 36 inches. The waist can go to about 29 inches. The length of the chiffon is 61 inches, the slip is a little longer. It does have its matching slip that snaps together at the shoulders of the chiffon.
The slip has a small tag that says it's a size 20, but this was a size 20 over 85 years ago. The slip is dirty and would benefit from a gentle soak. The chiffon dress has a couple very small holes, one is smaller than the head of a pin.
It's like a little dot. The second hole I found is about the size of a pea. There are two areas, one about half an inch in length and the second about a quarter of an inch in length, where I repaired two small holes that were in the chiffon. These repairs are not noticeable because they blend into the floral pattern very well. I found a small faint spot in one of the white flowers on the front of the dress.
