ANTIQUE DRESS PETTICOAT 1860 CIVIL WAR VOLUMINOUS FULL PETTICOAT PIN TUCKS HAND SEWN EYELET CUTWORK. Voluminous 1860's Civil War period ladies cotton petticoat with three rows of pin tucks and the flounce is decorated with skillfully done hand sewn eyelet cutwork. This petticoat is hand hand sewn with organic cotton picked by the slave trade of that period. Cartilage pleating with closure at back. No hook or eyes were ever put on waist band, but sometime in the petticoats life a 8 tab was sewn on waist band. With a very small tear at end of waist band, no repairs and no stains. Waist band is not adjustable but a sewn on tab to adjust.

This is not original to petticoat. Rarely used, Fairly clean, I have not soaked/washed this petticoat. Under crinoline hoop skirt is not included with petticoat. Waist 29-1/2" with 8" tab to adjust, Length 41", Circumference 145". A great addition to one's collection.
