Edwadian valenciennes butterfly lace princess slip petticoat corset cover 1900s 1910s. Classic Gibson Girl, pigeon bust silhouette. So many wonderful handsewn details throughout. A textile enthusiast's dream to handle. Skirt is full of pintuck pleats, hand embroidery, lace insets, micro pleats and extraordinary thread work. Skirt is interwoven with robins egg blue satin ribbon - original. Closes at center back with 15 mother of pearl abalone shell buttons and hand sewn buttonholes. Ultimate Edwardian clothing collector item. Finished with french seams on the interior. Small pinhole's, light spots, small breaks to interior hem lace. Top tiny bow ribbon is not original.
