Beautiful Fine Cotton & Lace Victorian Edwardian Chemise, slip, Nightgown. This lovely gem is made of a nice fine soft white cotton. This features very fine embroidery, delicate hand made Valenciennes bobbin lace trim and lace inserts. There should be a ribbon woven just under the bust, there are gathers on each hip.
This would be cute worn as a sundress! This is in very nice vintage wearable, displayable condition-there are no stains or holes, there are a couple broken brides, one slit where the ribbon should be woven has a slight ravel. There may be age related spots. I have not laundered this lovely gem. The photos just do not capture the true charm of this lovely gem.
