Beautiful 1920's/30's Dress ensemble, Tabard and slip
Everything about this piece is magnificent-the color, the detail, the fabric! Powder Blue color with cream colored silk embroidery throughout bodice and at perimeter of tabard.
Covered cream colored silk buttons go down center of slip. Pleated chiffon skirt of tabard overlays silk slip beneath. Length: (from mid front neckline to bottom hem): 40. Across shoulders: 19 when laid flat. Length: (from mid front scoop neckline to bottom hem): 44.5.Small, hidden metal snap closures on left side of slip and under left arm on overlay. Flaws detected upon close inspection. Faint discolorations under armpits of slip, front and back of slip, and back of chiffon overlay. (Not many, they are faint). Small holes (I counted four within chiffon).
