Floral Chiffon Gown With Blue Lace Trim, Silk Slip
This is a multi-colored silk chiffon gown. Nicer details include a handkerchief hem, a draped, bias cut panel in front and back, one is shown in the 5th pic. The solid blue silk slip has a printed chiffon hem. There is a lace insert at the neck, lace trim at the sleeves, and lace inserts at the hem. There is a built in belt at the waist. An unusual detail is the tapered white net insert at the front of the bodice, cut out of the solid blue silk slip.
This you should be able to see in the second picture. It measures 42" around at the bust, 38" at the waist, 43 at the hip. These are outside measurements, the slip would be 2-3 inches smaller.
It's 15 1/2" between the shoulder seams in back, 5" long, center of neckline to the hem, 54 long from the shoulder to the longest point of the handkerchief hem. The chiffon is very good. There is one seam separation at an underarm that needs resewing, it's about 2 long. There are five holes to the lace trim at the hem of the skirt.
The largest area, with two holes, is fist-sized, the others are perhaps 3 x 4, 2 x 2, the size of a quarter, size of a dime.
