Stunnning 1930s FRENCH EVENING DRESS & SLIP LARGE
For sale is this STUNNING 1930s dress. This is from the 1930s and is FRENCH.
The details on this dress are very couture and unique. The slip is a wonderful silk that looks wet and has great detailing on the bottom. The dress is made of a black silk with circular net cut outs. The sleeves have stiffening sewn in to poof the sleeves out according to the fashion of the day.
The fabric belt is also elaborately sewn in a flower like design. Overall this is in excellent condition. There are a few areas where the net has some small holes. Other than that it is excellent and wearable art. This is a larger size, but is photographed on a Bust 32 mannequin, so as you can see the flowy nature of the garment would make it appropriate for a variety of sizes.
