This 1800's mourning dress is amazing! Intricate snaps and hook and eye fasteners. Sash ties along the waist. Slip was worn underneath the dress. Beautiful sleeve work and buttons.

The mourning bag (what a woman kept her hankie in for her tears) is exquisite. It is lined and has a drawstring top. I've never seen an original like this before. Complete set is very hard to find.
