Vintage 1930s Effanbee 11 Dy-Dee Ette White Organdy Christening Dress & Slip. Clean Bright Crisp Organdy, Tagged, Finest Christening Set made for your Dy-Dee Ette! Freshly removed from my little 11 Dy-Dee Ette's trunk is this beautiful well cared for white organdy Christening dress and slip set. As you can see in the photos, this set is in exquisite condition. I will be listing the original Effanbee box at a later date.

The organdy fabric is still clean, bright white, fabric is crisp and full bodied, appears to have never been washed, and its original Effanbee tag is still sewn at its seam. Underneath the dress is the matching long slip. It too is in excellent clean condition.

There are two tiny patches that was neatly placed in the interior of the slip to protect pin-point size holes from becoming larger. Appears to have been done years ago and is unnoticeable underneath the dress. This Christening set is the upscale version made entirely out of organdy with its signature decorative cotton collar, not made from the typical cotton lawn cloth.
