Vintage 1930s "Molly-'es" Shirley Temple Composition 27 Doll Dress/Slip Set. Extremely Rare, Unused, Unwashed, Perfectly Tagged!
T his is an extremely rare authentic vintage 1930s "Molly-'es" Shirley Temple 27 composition doll dress and onesie slip set. Extremely rare style, is all original, has never been used nor washed, fabric retains its crispness, and both the dress and onesie slip are perfectly tagged. The dress is made of a lovely pink organdy with picot ruffles on the bodice and hemline, retains all of its original silk ribbons and floral ribbon adornments, the two original buttons are still firmly factory attached, and comes complete with its original onesie slip. The dress and slip are in beautiful unworn condition, but since it has never been washed is not as bright as when new.
Shows slight age darkening, and the dress has two small areas where the fabric has neatly pulled apart from the seam. One area is on the neckline, the other is on the back bodice seam (please see photos). I have owned many Molly-'es creations over the decades I've been collecting, yet have never come across another in this style dress, nor have found many of her creations in the hard-to-find larger sizes.
