The story behind this beautiful Vintage French Peach Silk Crepe Slip/Dress with Hand Made Alencon Lace is the stuff Fairy Tales are made of. We have a complete Trousseau of lovely handmade French Lingerie of all styles from the 1930's - 1950's from the shops of Paris.
The woman who originally owned them was born and raised in France. She met a young American Serviceman during the 1950's who served in Germany and in the the Pacific Theater. They married and they eventually located in Oregon where they had two daughters. The French lingerie that she kept was, for the most part unworn, and is in exquisite condition.
Most was kept in tissue and boxed over the years. There were also numerous accessories from the time: gloves, accessories, scarves; and sunglasses which we will also be putting up for sale in the near future. In addition there is a treasure trove of vintage Young Girl's and Young Ladies Children's Clothing and Accessories. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding these items as they are listed.
