Vintage 1970s Era White Bridal Wedding Dress Lace Long Train, Veil & Slip
This is a very pretty vintage style wedding dress and includes a veil and underslip. I believe dates to late 70's possibly early 80s.
Features a high collar sheer fabric with lace and fabric covered buttons. The fabric feels like chiffon.
Features fabric covered buttons down the front bodice and closes down the back with 14 buttons , loop over closure. The dress bodice is lined in a fitting fabric, the chiffon style fabric is blousy and a little full, an early century style of gown and has a ribbon tie at the waist with a fabric flower. The sleeves have a little bit of fullness and have the same fabric button closures at the cuff, 9 buttons on each sleeve. This sheer fabric is over the entire dress and has an underskirt and bodice fabric. Lace edges the underslip or solid fabric underlayer of dress and skirt as well as the sheer fabric of the skirt.
A long train on this dress, has the button hook for a bustle look when the train is not down as shown in the photos. Sleeve length measured at underarm to cuff- 21 inches. Dress length from shoulder to bottom of dress front is 57 1/2 inches. Add another 36 inches for the train in the back of the dress, so around a 3 foot train on this dress.
Includes a wedding dress slip. Length from top of slip to bottom of slip-42 inches. Veil- is wired style veil covered with lace and faux pearl embellishments, tulle fabric full long veil. Veil length is 34 1/2 inches long , longest piece. One layer for wearing over your face and a longer one underneath. Comb is into the veil for placement in your hair. All buttons and loops for buttoning the buttons are in good condition. Zipper on undergarment fabric of dress is in good condition.
