Vintage Black Lace Dress Gown Slip And Shawl 1930's Or 1940's
Lovely Black Lace & Chiffon Evening Dress, Slip & Shawl Gently worn. Believe this dress is from the 1930's so it is fragile.
The size is probably a medium - no labels. Fabric - lace & I think chiffon for the dress & shawl. Has Cowl neckline with a weight to hold it down.Dress has a sheer top. Sheer black chiffon inset on sides with black lace down the. Center front and back - no zipper or snaps on the side or back.
Belt is made of lace & has a snap to hold the end of it down - 54 inches long. Slip is a thin nude color on top & a heavier black fabric on the rest. Slip has a snap on the shoulder to snap to the dress. Shawl is lace with 6 inches of chiffon around it.
Measurements - taken when laying flat. Armpit to Armpit - 20 inches. Waist - 17 1/2 inches. Shoulder to Hem - 54 inches.
Sweep of Skirt Hem - 65 inches around. Armpit to Armpit - 18 inches.Length from top of neck - 52 inches. Waist - 19 1/2 inches. Around Hem - 27 inches. Across Shawl - 43 1/2 inches. Length of Ties - 15 inches.
