Vintage Cissy Hard-To-Find Navy Taffeta Dress, Lace Slip & Watch #2141-NO DOLL
Although Madame Alexander made many Vintage Navy Taffeta Dresses- I believe this #2141 is the most sought after by Collectors and probably the Hardest to Find. Other Vintage Cissy Navy dresses had cap sleeves or a 3/4 sleeve, but this one has the ruffled tulle trim on a sleeveless dress. The Dress also had the Lovely Chatelain Watch pin attached.
Underneath was a half slip made of all Lace. These are the 3 pieces that are for sale in this listing. The doll IS NOT INCLUDED but is just a Model so you can see how lovely the dress really is! The Dress is all Original, dress has never been laundered or ironed. The Taffeta is as crisp as new!All snaps are present and the Vintage Cissy Tag is Mint! The slip looks Minty but elastic is stretched - which is typical for vintage elastic. The Chatelain Watch pin has a bronze color finish and a white clock face with Black numbers with a Circlular border of faux Diamonds... This really makes the outfit Pop!
The only things to mention is that the front of the dress has a bit of dust inside the folds of the pleats. This particular dress is extra-fully gathered for a really full skirt!And there is a 1/4 opening on right side of bodice which could use a few stitches but took a while to find this only upon close inspection. This is a wonderful 60+ year old dress in well preserved condition! PLEASE look closely at photos for complete description of items...
