Vintage Sheer White Embroidered Organdy Long Gown & Slip 1940s 40-30-44. This great little summer dress is aptly labeled " Floridian", as it truly fits the Miami flavor of style in the 1940's. It is made of a lightweight cotton print of gold, with a black and blue rose abstract print.

Details: Peasant style bodice with a heart-shaped neckline and smocked center bust; It has a fitted waist and A line skirt. Large slanted patch pockets with turned back cuffs. Label is " Floridian Miami Fla" , as mentioned. White organdy, I think its a stiff nylon fabric that is embroidered all over with a delicate floral.

It has a square neckline, and a triple horizontal layered bodice with a fitted waist and a long A line skirt. It has pretty architectural white buttons with aurora borealis rhinestones on them. The matching taffeta " Snip It" slip has adjustable straps and is perfect under the sheer dress. It can be trimmed to fit.

It is made of celanese acetate taffeta. Could work as a wedding gown!
