Vintage formal Dress 30s handkerchief Silk chiffon Bridal wedding LS purple Slip
This late 20s early 30s dress is made of 100% silk. Chiffon with a matching crepe de chine slip. Featuring a lace inset neckline, flared handkerchief skirt, and no closures, this is a lilac purple color that is simply divine.
With a self bow and fluttering skirt panels that swirl and sway. This has lovely details and. Is in remarkably good condition.
In good condition, there are several flaws. The sleeves are fragile with many holes and tears, especially at the armpit.
I would remove them and make this sleeveless, but I seem to have less time on my hands these days! There is also some fading on the skirt. A few tiny holes here and there may be found, but no major damage to the body of the dress. The slip is in very good condition and has a large hem allowance if you want to pull some fabric from there to bind the armholes.
