Vintage 1940's silky rayon bias nightgown. The front bodice is embroidered with satin dancing ballerinas and scattered "snow dots". A special treat for a dancer! Finest silky rayon crepe de chine satin. Long ties attached at sides and wrap to the back. The gown is high sheen matte rayon and could be worn as a dress or wedding gown. Cotton lace around the neckline edge. Medium to large size, the gown is labeled a 38, indicating a 38 bust-line.
