VTG 1950s Girls White & Pink ORGANDY Party DRESS & RUFFLE Slip A CARI CLASSIC 6
Estate find from original owner. A stunning vintage 1950's girls party dress. It is A Cari Original. This is a two piece set. The cotton organdy dress is gorgeous with the vivid rose pink organdy collar with floral jabot on the bodice, and swag organdy trim on the skirt. In the front of the dress on every peak of the swag there is a beautiful embroidered flower. Gathered puff sleeves and incredible gathers at the waist to create this super full skirt. The back has 3 buttons. There are belt loops on the waist. The original waist ribbon is missing. Once the ribbon is in place, it acts more like a cumberbund, as it rides higher on the waist.
Needs 1" to 1 1/4" wide ribbon. The full slip is cotton organdy with buttons in the back and double ruffle at the hem. These two are so beautiful together and feel like they were just starched! This dress is tagged a 6 but please measure a favorite dress to be sure of a perfect fit :.
