Vtg Ferragamo Genuine Alligator Men's Purple Loafer Slip On Dress Shoe 11 Italy! They are by Rosina Ferragamo Schiavone. Rosina Ferragamo Schiavone was Salvatore Ferragamo's sister. She designed shoes between 1960 and 1975. Her designs tended toward animal skins and prints, cutouts and shoes with a dash of flash.
She's sought out among vintage collectors in the know. These are super high-end loafers in the unique color purple. I'm pretty sure these are from the 1970s. They are a men's size 11 and despite the age are in really great condition. Some wear to the soles as to be expected. The uppers look very nice with no damage. The marking is worn away but you can still make out the "Genuine Alligator" on the bottom. They measure 11¾" from heel to toe along the bottom soles and almost 4" wide. If you do some research you'll find shoes by Rosina in museums such as the Metropolitan.
I also have a pair of these in blue listed! Don't miss out on this rare collectible footwear!
