Vintage Lillie Rubin Designer Crochet Set Belted Peplum Top and Midi Skirt Size Small 1980s. Beautiful all-crocheted set from high-end retailer Lillie Rubin. From the early 1980s, this garment has been carefully stored and is in perfect, wearable condition. The peplum top has a high neck collar and v-front with crocheted buttons and matching crocheted belt.

The A-line skirt has a wide 1.5 elasticized waist. The entire outfit has feminine scalloped edges.

In a soft cream color. Modesty is maintained by a nude underslip that has a zip-up back and was altered by the store. An inset piece was added to lengthen it. The crocheted pieces are in flawless condition. The mesh slip has two tiny holes on the back and one has the beginning of a run. Though the yarn content is unknown, it is very stretchy, making for an easy, forgiving fit. The label states Medium, but as it is a vintage outfit, the actual contemporary size is a Small.

The dress-form shown in the photos is a size 4 (34-23-34) but this set could easily accommodate a size 6 as well. Bust 34" (17" across the front from underarm to underarm). Waist of peplum top 28" (14" across). Hip of peplum top 38" (19" across).

Skirt waist 26" unstretched (13" across). Overall length from nape to hem 42.5.
